Community Financial Wellbeing
Aurora partners with community groups, schools and non-profit organisations to provide practical financial wellbeing workshops and programmes.
Our workshops can be tailored to suit the interests, experiences and needs of each group, whether people are looking to strengthen everyday money skills, navigate change, understand financial options, or build greater confidence with financial decisions.

Workshop topics

Each workshop usually focuses on one main financial wellbeing topic. Popular topic options include:
-
Everyday money management
-
Money habits and behaviours
-
Getting ahead financially
-
Managing debt
-
Planning for change
-
Money and relationships
We can also facilitate other financial wellbeing topics that are important to your group.
What to expect
Practical · Conversational · Inclusive
We introduce useful ideas, tools and strategies that participants can consider in the context of their own lives, priorities and circumstances.
Sessions encourage discussion, questions and shared learning, with opportunities for people to draw on their own experiences and perspectives. We aim to create a welcoming and respectful environment where people can strengthen their knowledge, confidence and capability with money.

Session options
Workshops can be delivered as a single session or as part of a multi-session programme.
Where we deliver
We offer in-person workshops in the Nelson/Tasman area, or elsewhere by arrangement. Online options also available.
Workshop costs
We want our workshops to be accessible to as many groups as possible. If cost is a barrier, please talk with us about subsidised rates or other funding options.
